In keeping in line with the ideals developed
by the LVIAC, the Conference is proud to announce the Scholar-Athletes
for the Spring season of the 2006-2007 school year. All nominees
are quality student-athletes within their school community and the
Conference.
The following criteria was established and considered
for the selection of each school’s nominees as well as the
LVIAC Scholar-Athlete for each sport.
- Academic Achievement- 40%- includes GPA, Class
Rank, SATs, and participation in National Honor Society, Honor
Rolls, and National Merit Scholarship
- Athletic Achievement- 40%- All State, All Conference,
Captaincy, Special Achievements
- Extra-Curricular / Community Activities –
20%- Participation in school activities, participation on other
varsity teams, community activities
